Left-turning traffic waits for its green arrow, then curves into the cross street. On one-lane roads it shares the lane with through traffic; the avenue has short inner turn pockets. Smart Eye holds the north/south main road green until east/west traffic approaches, then clears the crossing with yellow and red phases.
